About Me
I am an Associate Professor of Pharmaceutics with over 20 years of academic experience in pharmaceutical education, teaching, research, and student supervision. I hold a Master's degree and a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, and I am passionate about helping students develop a strong understanding of pharmaceutical principles and their practical applications.
Throughout my academic career, I have taught and supported pharmacy students at different levels, helping them understand challenging concepts, prepare for examinations, solve pharmaceutical calculations, and apply theoretical knowledge to real-life pharmaceutical problems.
My teaching expertise includes:
Pharmaceutics: dosage forms, preformulation, formulation principles, and excipient selection.
Pharmaceutical Technology: manufacturing processes and the formulation of tablets, capsules, liquid dosage forms, and semisolids.
Biopharmaceutics and Pharmacokinetics: drug absorption, bioavailability, drug release, and dosage calculations.
Advanced Drug Delivery Systems: nanoparticles, liposomes, polymeric nanocarriers, controlled release, and targeted drug delivery.
Pharmaceutical Formulation Development: formulation optimization, Quality by Design (QbD), and experimental design.
Research and Innovation: pharmaceutical nanotechnology, AI applications in pharmaceutical formulation, and research methodology.
My teaching approach is student-centered and tailored to each learner's needs, academic level, and university syllabus. I use clear explanations, structured notes, diagrams, worked examples, practice questions, and interactive discussions to make difficult topics easier to understand.
I aim not only to help students achieve better academic results but also to develop their critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and confidence in pharmaceutical sciences. I also provide academic support to students undertaking pharmaceutical formulation projects and postgraduate research.
My goal is to make learning Pharmaceutics clear, engaging, and practical, helping every student progress toward their academic and professional goals.
